Information we collect

We only collect information we need to respond to you and provide safe, effective care. This may include:

• Contact details – your name, email address and phone number.
• Enquiry and booking details – the service you are interested in and anything you tell us in a message or form, which may include information about your pain, injury or health.
• ACC information – such as your ACC claim number, if you choose to share it so we can check your eligibility for ACC-funded treatment.
• Purchase details – if you buy products or packages online, the details needed to process and deliver your order. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
• Website usage information – such as pages visited, device and browser type, and general location, collected through cookies and analytics tools (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

Please only share the health information needed for your enquiry. Detailed clinical information is best discussed with your practitioner at your appointment.

How we collect it

• When you fill in a form on our website (for example, our contact form or free assessment registration).
• When you email, phone, message us on social media, or visit the clinic.
• From ACC, your GP or other health providers, with your authorisation or where permitted by law.
• Automatically, through cookies and analytics when you use our website.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange appointments.
• To provide, manage and follow up on your treatment.
• To check and process ACC or insurance claims when you ask us to.
• To process online orders and payments.
• To send appointment reminders and service updates. We will only send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To understand how our website is used so we can improve it and our services.
• To meet our legal and professional obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where needed, for example with:

• Our practitioners and clinic staff involved in your care.
• ACC, your GP, specialists or insurers – with your authorisation, or where required or permitted by law.
• Trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as our email provider (Zoho), website hosting and security providers, practice management and booking systems, payment providers, and analytics and advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta). These providers may store information outside New Zealand; we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to understand how visitors use it (for example, Google Analytics), and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising (for example, the Meta Pixel). This information is generally collected in a form that does not directly identify you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

How we keep your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. This includes secure (HTTPS) website connections, restricted access for staff, and working with reputable service providers. We keep health information for as long as required by law (generally at least 10 years after your last treatment, under the Health (Retention of Health Information) Regulations 1996) and other information only for as long as we need it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if you think it is wrong. We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable and within 20 working days. There is usually no charge for this.
